Approaching the esteemed mark of 1000 games played as of this writing, Derick Brassard’s NHL journey began after being selected 6th overall in 2006 by the Columbus Blue Jackets and has since seen him suit up for nine other National Hockey League franchises while also representing Canada internationally. Offered here from his tenure with the New York Rangers, is this jersey worn by Brassard during the first round of the 2013 NHL Playoffs against the Washington Capitals. Made by Reebok, a size “56” flag tag is affixed to the collar, with a Rangers barcode affixed above along with a Steiner Sports hologram while NHL and Reebok crests reside over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in red-over-white drop-shadow tackle twill, Brassard’s number “16” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Brassard” across the affixed arching nameplate. Worn for only three games, the jersey remains in beautiful condition, showing just a small board burn on the backside of the left cuff plus some light fraying and loose threads inside each cuff and collar as well as inside the hem. The jersey is accompanied by a matching Steiner LOA.
