Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
Sure to keep the winner entertained for hours on and and provide some incredible display pieces as well for their budding collection, we offer this vintage 1950's to 1970's multi-sport board game and game collection of 6 featuring the sports of hockey, horse racing, boxing and shooting. Headlined by "Magnetic Hockey" games produced by an unknown manufacturer in the 1950's, each comes with their original box with both having slight differences to their surfaces but the same construction style. The surfaces show moderate-to-heavy wear including damage and warping with the edges and sides remaining in good condition for their age. The boxes are in fair condition, showing wear and tear throughout but still displaying well with their printed graphics and word marks. Two horse racing games make up the second third of the lot, including "Home Stretch Harness Racing" from 1967 that includes its original box and "Horse-Play" from the late-1950s/early-1960s that doesn't have its box present and shows moderate-to-heavy wear to the game board including corner and edge flaws and splitting. Boxing is featured via "Rocky Graziano Presents a Century of Great Fights" from 1969 and the group is rounded out with "Tin Can Alley" from 1976. Both of the final two offers are once again accompanied by their original boxes. The boxes vary in condition with most remaining good and only showing light wear with same able to be said about the pieces on the inside while some do show heavier use and wear.
Please note, it cannot be guaranteed that the games included in the lot are complete and as such are being sold "AS IS" and are ineligible for return.
