Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023

Collectors who want one of everything and who are not concerned about condition often end up with batches like the offered 1958-59 Parkie set; various condition issues make for low grade representatives joining more attractive examples, with the condition lowdown as follows: Henri Richard’s #2 card is the condition highlight in a PSA holder labeled EX 5, while 22-Jacques Plante (otherwise VG-EX) is one of nine cards with pen writing on the reverse, usually a former owner’s initials. Other notables are 34-Beliveau and 42-Horton (both otherwise VG), with 33-Mahovlich (no marks) at VG+ and 9-Maurice Richard similar but with wax stains on the front. Making it to the VG-EX to EX range (mostly VG-EX) are nine cards, including three Plante action jobs (#s 7, 11, 35), while four others featuring Plante, along with 28-Geoffrion, highlight ten cards at either VG or VG+. Eighteen are in the F to G realm, while down right P with major flaws are 46-Bower, 48-Armstrong and five commoners. Multiple options await you here.
