Representing a new era in the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the club played their first game in the brand new Air Canada Centre on February 20th, 1999 against the Montreal Canadiens, beating their long-time rivals 3-2. Celebrating their first season in their new home, this collection of tickets displaying images of the 1998-99 Maple Leafs including Cujo, Sundin, Quinn, Domi, Thomas and others were for the first 14 games at Air Canada Centre in 1998-99, beginning on February 20th, 1999 with the middle ticket from the first game that is flanked by others that go till April 14th. A beautiful display that also includes a plaque, various Leafs lapel pins and a bronze first game medallion at the bottom, with all the tickets serial numbered as set number 1192 of 1500. Everything is housed in heather blue coloured frame that shows heavy wear to the edges and corners while measuring to full dimensions of 31 ¼” x 40 ¼”.
