Drafted 90th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 1993, Eric Daze would spend his entire 601 game National Hockey League career with the club, becoming a fan favourite over that time. Hailing from the 2001-02 season, we present this Chicago Blackhawks jersey worn by Daze. Featuring size “56” and CCM “Made in Canada” fly tags affixed to the inner collar, a CCM crest adorns the reverse neckline while the NHL shield has been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the Blackhawks team crest with chain-stitched details, the distinguished alternate captain’s “A” has been sewn over the left breast. Matching chain-stitched tomahawk crests reside over each shoulder with the sleeves and verso of the jersey having been accented with Daze’s number “55” in dual layer black-over-red numerals with “Daze” spelt across the affixed matching nameplate in single layer black twill letters. Exhibiting excellent game-use, stick marks are seen over the front, reverse and sleeves of the jersey. The sleeves both show numerous team repairs along with board burns and board paint transfers while additional team repairs totaling three (3) are found over the front. The reverse shows a small unrepaired hole as well toning to the nameplate. A Blackhawks team set patch is sewn to the interior hem with the inside of the jersey also showing a fight strap that has evidence of numerous washings, a City Sports Lettering sticker and a “4” handwritten behind the NHL shield. A Blackhawks LOA will accompany the piece.
