One of the best young goal scorers to currently play the game, Cole Caufield made his NHL debut with Montreal in 2020-21, and scored 12 points in his first 20 playoff games as the Habs advanced to the Stanley Cup finals. Destined to add more to his career total with each passing game, offered here is this puck used by Caufield to score his 18th goal of the season and 22nd of his career. Slung into the net at 18:03 of the 2nd period, the goal would pull Montreal within one of the Toronto Maple Leafs in a game they would eventually be defeated in by a 3-2 score on the road. The “Official Game Puck” sports a Leafs logo on the obverse with the NHL shield featured on the opposite side. Six tracker sensor dots are also seen on each face. Tape has been added along the side that has “MTL #2 #22 9/4/22 Per 2” handwritten in black ink, with a hologram from the Leafs also affixed. Exhibiting light surface wear along with scuffs/abrasions over each face, the puck is housed in a Leafs holder while being accompanied by a COA listing all the particulars.
