A three-time Stanley Cup champion, Patrick Roy is the only player in NHL history to win the Conn Smyth Trophy as playoffs MVP three times. Ranking second all-time in wins by a goaltender with 551, offered here is this stick used by Roy during the 1999-2000 season with the Colorado Avalanche. A KOHO 500 model with a heavily faded “P. Roy” stamp over the upper shaft, the factory date code that would have been stamped alongside it is no longer visible. Retaining its original tape job of white tape over the blade and lower paddle, black on the handle and white-over-black on the knob/upper shaft, the stick shows light-to-moderate use through some puck marks/abrasions over both sides of the shaft, paddle and blade tape. Additionally, St. Patrick has signed the forehand side of the blade tape with a fine blue marker ink signature that displays without issue.
