Beginning his Hall of Fame career with a season in the WHA with Birmingham in 1978-79, Michel Goulet was drafted by Quebec in 1979 and spent 11 seasons with the Nordiques followed by additional time with the Chicago Black Hawks before an injury forced him into retirement. Offered here, is this stick used by Goulet as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks during the 1991-92 season. A Titan 2020 model with “M. Goulet” stamped to the upper shaft and his number “16” handwritten in black ink above, Michel’s original red tape job of resides over the handle/knob. The blade tape has been removed to facilitate a flowing black ink signature that displays without issue and includes an “HOF 98” inscription. Stamped “22 Aout 1991” on the underside of the lower shaft, an additional stamp reading “2-001” is found at the heel. Exhibiting good game-use, the stick shows numerous marks/abrasions throughout the length of the shaft as well as on the blade with a small chip/dent to the top edge of the blade also observed.
