Drafted 27th overall by the New York Islanders after three consecutive 100-point seasons with the London Knights in the OHL, Chris Taylor would play in 149 National Hockey League games over a 19-year professional career. Hailing from the 1999-2000 season, is this Sabres jersey worn by Taylor. Made by Pro Player, brand and size “56” tagging is affixed to the inner collar with NHL and Pro Player crests embroidered into the reverse hem. The front has been decorated with the attractive partially embroidered Sabres team crest along with the NHL 2000 patch over the right breast. The sleeves and verso have been accented with Taylor’s number “16” in tri-layer tackle twill with “Taylor” spelt out in dual layer tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Additional alternate B’s grace each shoulder, with the fight strap on the interior displaying a handwritten notation reading “1/14/00 #16”. Showing light-to-moderate game-use, black marks are seen over the front and left sleeve, where a popped seam is also found near the cuff. Snags are seen throughout with two small stains present above the team creast as well.
