Finishing the season with a .345 batting average to go along with 44 homeruns and 123 RBI’s, Vladimir Guerrero Sr. was an all-star in the 2000 season in which he also won the Silver Slugger award and finished 6th in National League MVP voting. Hailing from a year of incredible production is this Montreal Expos jersey worn by Vladimir Guerrero Sr. during the 2000 season. Made by Russell Athletic, MLB Diamond Collection tagging with a size 48 designation is found at the front lower left tail with a fly tag reading “100% Polyester” found underneath. Decorated over the front with a script “Montreal” in tri-colour layered tackle twill along with a fleur-de-lys patch, Guerrero’s number “27” is found underneath and over the reverse in matching style. “Guerrero” is arched over the upper back in tri-layer tackle twill letters below the MLB logo, with a beautiful Expos logo patch residing over the left sleeve. A black twill number “9” Maurice Richard memorial patch sits affixed to the right sleeve, added to Expos unforms after the legends passing in May 2000. Sporting game-use via grass/dirt stains on the right shoulder and lower tail of the reverse, loose threads indicating multiple washings are also seen throughout the jersey. Additionally, Vladdy has signed the top of the back number “7” with a black ink signature that displays with light fading from age.
