The Edmonton Oilers record holder for most wins by a goaltender in a season with 42, Cam Talbot spent parts of four seasons guarding the Oilers crease, and represented Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Championships in Russia. From his second season in Alberta, we have a signed blocker and glove set worn by Talbot in 2016-17, photo-matched to both the regular season and 2016 Heritage Classic in Winnipeg. CCM Premier models in Oilers colours, “CT33” is embroidered to each, with the pair showing good game-use, with puck marks covering both. Inventory labels have also been affixed to each along with holograms from the Oilers that match the accompanying team LOA (the hologram numbers have also been handwritten to each item). Talbot has signed the front of the blocker and the pocket of the glove in blue marker, with Kay Whitmore also initialing each in his capacity as goaltending supervisor of the NHL. Getty Images #622030080 (Oct 30, 2016 - regular season) and #618791550 (Oct 23, 2016 - Heritage Classic) have each been matched to a number of marks on both the blocker and glove.
