Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Bringing a certain “Broad Street Bully” element to Detroit along with teammate Joey Kocur during his tenure, Bob Probert proved to be hard as nails, and was recognized as one of the toughest players in modern history while also adept at putting the puck in the net. Sadly, the NHL star passed in 2010 from a heart attack. We offer a stick that was used by Probert in the late-1990s with Chicago. A KOHO Revolution model, “Probert” appears stamped and faded on the upper shaft, with the stick retaining its original now-tattered tape on the blade and white ribbed-pattern on the handle/knob. Heavy game-use is exhibited, with wear to the blade including puck marks and tears/unraveling to the tape, with numerous marks to the shaft.
