Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Drafted first overall by Toronto in 2016, Auston Matthews has been filling NHL nets since the day he entered the league. This stick was used by the superstar during the 2021-22 season in which he won his second Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the league’s top goal scorer. Acquired directly from the Toronto Maple Leafs, this CCM JetSpeed FT4 Pro model sports “Papi 34” factory graphics on the shaft with the Leafs logo above it and is also showing the Toronto skyline along the side shaft. The blade has its original white tape job while the handle has been wrapped with white grip tape and has Matthews’ handwritten number “34” on the front and a cross on the back. Light game-use is exhibited, with a few puck marks to the blade and light wear to the shaft. An LOA from the Toronto Maple Leafs will accompany.
