Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Arguably the toughest living legend signature to acquire, especially specimens without a personalization, Ken Dryden is widely regarded as one of the all-time greatest goaltenders despite seeing action in parts of a mere eight seasons, and serves as a six-time Stanley Cup champion, while also having earned the Calder Memorial and Conn Smythe Trophies. This lot features a signed cut from the legendary keeper encapsulated as “Authentic Autograph” by Beckett. Executed on off-white stock, the approx 3” x 5” cut appears the same size as an index card, with Dryden signing in blue ballpoint, adding “89”, with no issues for the flawless scripting. The cut shows a black border, with the reverse blank. This is an ideal candidate for any advanced Montreal Canadiens of HOF goaltenders autograph collection.
