Winning gold medals while representing Canada at the World Championships and Winter Olympics, Rob Blake was successful at every level throughout his lengthy two-decade career in professional hockey, earning a James Norris Trophy along with a Stanley Cup championship. This stick was used by the star defender during his time with the Los Angeles Kings in the late-1990s/early-2000s, with this specific model of stick seeing use in his competent hands from approx 1998 to 2002. A Bauer Supreme model with “R Blake” stamped to the upper shaft, the stick retains the original black tape on the blade and black cloth wrap on the handle with reinforcing white strands, with “3” handwritten over the top of the knob (to signify game #3 of the season or the third stick used in a particular game??). Exhibiting light to moderate game-use with some wear to the underside section of blade along with a tear to the tape, there is also light wear to the shaft.
