Selected with the fourth overall pick in the 1968 Major League Expansion Draft, Mack Jones made a quick impression on Expos fans when he collected five RBI during the Expos 8-7 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in the franchises first home opener. This bat was used by the outfielder during his stint with the Montreal Expos, in the late-1960s/early-1970s. A H&B Louisville Slugger signature model produced during the 1969 to 1972 labeling period with “Powerized” logo to the right of the center brand signature over the barrel, “9” is handwritten on the knob in black marker over top of a model number stamp of “C205L”. Light use is exhibited including numerous ball marks, red paint transfers throughout and small divots and scuffs in the wood. A crack in the handle is also present.
