Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022

The Philadelphia Gum Company’s 1965 War Bulletin set tells the story of the most important events of World War II and constitutes a fascinating history lesson. The 88-card ensemble offered here is dominated by crease-free examples in the VG-EX to EX range with smaller amounts better/worse. A (baker’s) dozen creased cards are to note, along with one miscut card and (removable) wax stains observed on ten. Hitler, Mussolini, Eisenhower, Churchill and MacArthur appear, along with various battle scenes from numerous places around the world. The #88-World War II Checklist card has all of its boxes filled-in neatly in blue ink and is otherwise VG+ with a small light back crease. A neat set to add to your non-sport stash.
