Winning his first Vezina Trophy in 2021, Marc-Andre Fleury had previously won a trio of Stanley Cup championships with Pittsburgh, and made appearances at five All-Star Games. From the 2012-13 NHL season, we have a matching-set blocker, glove and pads all photo-matched, along with a signed oversized photo – with all four equipment pieces matched to the photo. Reebok Premier models in Pens colour scheme, “Fleury” is embroidered to each item, with Kay Whitmore initialing the blocker in his role as acting goaltending supervisor of the NHL. “9-17” is also handwritten to the right pad, with the significance unknown. All four items show heavy use with each covered with puck marks, with heavy red paint transfer to both the blocker and glove. The 27” x 40” photo has been signed in black marker and shows Getty Image #163434993 (March 9, 2013), with all four items matched to a number of marks to each.
