Drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in 1984 and traded to St Louis after numerous seasons in the French province, Jeff Brown guarded the Blues blueline for five seasons, and led the team in scoring for defenseman four straight seasons. We have a signed Blues jersey worn by Brown during his final season in Missouri, in 1993-94. A Maska Airknit label and size “54” fly tag is affixed to the collar (with handwritten "21"), with embroidered NHL and CCM logos over the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Blues team crest with “St Louis” embroidered, “21” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in stylized numerals, with “Brown” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. There is also a former alternate’s “A” that was removed from the left breast, with the outline visible. Sporting nice game-use with heavy wear to the material throughout including stick marks, stains, burns and paint transfer, there are small slits/holes to the lower sleeves and minor pilling to the reverse hem. There is also some damage/peeling to the vinyl layer of the sleeve numbers. Brown has signed the reverse “2” in white paint pen, with the signature standing out nicely against the dark background. The "Set 1" team patch resides on the inside hem near a hologram, with an LOA to accompany.
