Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Originating from the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals is this game-issued Edmonton Oilers jersey that was prepared for Todd Harvey to wear in Games 3 and 4 at home against the Carolina Hurricanes. Harvey did not play the first two games at home but was in the Oilers’ lineup for the rest of the seven-game series. As it was not used, the jersey remains in great condition with a number of small stains located on the lower front area of the jersey. The 2006 Stanley Cup Finals patch is sewn on the right breast of the jersey, which has a size 58 flag tag in the back of the neck. The “2005-2006 Season” patch is sewn inside the rear hem between the “Elite Sportswear 2005-2006 Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup Finals” team tagging and the MeiGray NHL 2004-2005 Season tag numbered “C03942” that is listed in their population report as a “Navy Stanley Cup Finals GI” specimen. A matching MeiGray LOA accompanies the item.
