First representing his nation as a U17, Charlie McAvoy has donned the stars and stripes at the IIHF World Juniors and IIHF World Championships which included winning gold at the Juniors in 2017. This Team USA jersey was worn by McAvoy at the 2018 IIHF World Championships in Denmark, specifically in the May 5th victory over Denmark, the May 13th victory over Norway and the May 15th loss to Finland. One set of home and away jerseys were produced for the tournament, with each bar-coded before the event, with the entire set later collected by Team USA's equipment staff and security-tagged with an individual serial-numbered USA Hockey-MeiGray Authentication Program inventory tag. Produced by Nike with an IIHF label and "60" sizing along the collar, there is also an IIHF patch to the reverse hem along with a Nike swoosh logo over the right breast. Featuring a synthetic team crest and numbers, "McAvoy" appears across the nameplate in matching material, with sponsorship patches over each upper sleeve. Sporting light wear with a few marks visible and burns over the front band, the Nike bar code and MeiGray patch are affixed to the inside hem, with an LOA from USA Hockey to accompany.
