“Reliving the Dream” fifteen years later, members of Team Canada and Team Russia from the iconic Canada-Russia Series met for a three-game “oldtimers” tournament in March of 1987, with matches played in Montreal, Ottawa and Hamilton. We have a set of five Team Canada jerseys worn at the reunion tournament along with an original “Relive the Dream” program, and according to the listed roster in the program, the jerseys were worn by Bobby Clarke (#28), Frank Mahovlich (#27), Rod Seiling (#16, captain’s jersey), Pat Stapleton (#3) and Bill White (#17). Cooper models with labels to the collars, each mesh jersey sports a matching design to the examples worn in 1972 with rising red maple leaf over the front, along with screened verso numbers and “Canada” over each upper reverse. There is also a “Relive the Dream” patch over each left sleeve. The group shows light wear, with some minor discolouration/staining to the Seiling, Stapleton and White jerseys.
