Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022

Regarded by many as the most significant moment in Canadian sports history, Paul Henderson’s goal against the Soviet Union with 0:34 left on the clock helped propel Canada to victory at the 1972 Summit Series. The celebration following that goal has been captured perfectly in this artistic rendition by Daniel Parry entitled “Henderson Scores for Canada”. The framed limited-edition lithograph is accompanied by a modern stick signed by members of Team Canada. At approx 18” x 22”, the litho has been signed by both Henderson and Parry in pencil, with the limited-edition number of “1045/2500” handwritten over the bottom left. Double-matted and framed to approx 26 ½” x 32 ½”, a COA from Parry is affixed to the reverse of the frame. The CCM Heritage stick features 26 matching red marker signatures all executed on one side of the shaft/blade, including Rod Seiling, Guy Lapointe, Pete Mahovlich, Stan Mikita, Marcel Dionne, Paul Henderson, Don Awrey, Jean Ratelle, Rod Gilbert, Dale Tallon, John Ferguson, Serge Savard, Rick Martin, Red Berenson, Bill White, J.P. Parise, Ed Johnston, Brian Glennie, Jocelyn Guevremont, Dennis Hull, Ron Ellis, Brad Park and the Espositos.
