The Toronto Argonauts made it 15 Grey Cup wins in 2004 when they beat the B.C. Lions 27-19 in Ottawa. This spectacular 10K gold and diamond creation by Intergold for the Argonauts 2004 Grey Cup championship was originally presented to defensive end Marvin Thomas. Quarterback Damon Allen claimed MVP honors as he rushed for a pair of touchdowns and passed for another in the 92nd Grey Cup Game at Frank Clair Stadium which put the Boatmen back on top of the CFL. “Grey Cup” and “Champions” are spelled out in raised gold on the upper and lower bezel of this magnificent championship bauble with a tableau filled with 71 real diamonds. Six diamonds are set into both the right and left bezels, with a total of 15 dazzling blue stones set around the raised “A” team logo filled with 25 diamonds in the middle of the tableau. The right shank displays the Argos logo beneath a “Pull Together” banner with the modern CFL logo to the right and “131 Years” at the bottom, all in relief. The left shank displays Grey Cup 2004 and the final score between “Thomas” at the top and “98” at the bottom. The size 14 band also displays the “10K Intergold” stamp. The ring weighs about 53 grams and shows light wear from use, with a few scratches to the band and shanks. A detailed gemological report will accompany.
