Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
The recipient of the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy in 2016-17 for his “perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to the sport of hockey”, goaltender Craig Anderson was drafted by Calgary in 1999, but after failing to sign with the Flames, re-entered the draft in 2001 and was selected by the Chicago Black Hawks. From his time in the nation’s capital, we have a photo-matched Ottawa Senators “Heritage” jersey worn by the Illinois native in 2012-13. “Goalie Style” and size “58” labeling is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the vintage large “O” team crest utilized by the original Sens, “41” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate shield crests over each shoulder. Sporting light game-use with a few marks on and near the team crest, a photo affixed to the team folder that houses the accompanying COA has been matched to the dark mark on the left side edge of the team crest, with the fold mark to the material beneath the “41” on the left sleeve also visible.
