Earning the Calder Memorial for his unbelievable 76-goal rookie campaign with the Winnipeg Jets which still stands as the most goals scored by a first-year player, Teemu Selanne dressed for four different NHL clubs throughout his HOF career. The Finnish Flash spent a single season with Colorado, and we offer a photo-matched Aves jersey worn by the superstar in 2003-04. A label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with a textured Aves team crest with embroidered detailing, “8” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in stylized tackle twill, with “Selanne” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The cuffs have also been customized to fit a bit tighter. Numerous puck and stick marks are evidence of heavier game-use, with burn marks over each sleeve along with a few small resulting holes near the right elbow and cuff. Getty Images #2797444 and #2741834 (November 18, 2003) have both been matched to a number of black marks on the front of the jersey. A MeiGray patch numbered “B02352” is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a "White 1st Regular Season" specimen. A 4” x 6” photo showing Selanne wearing this jersey will accompany.
