Making up for his somewhat smaller stature with quick speed and intelligent defending, Shayne Gostisbehere spent time in the NCAA and AHL before making his NHL debut with Philadelphia in 2014-14, where he appeared in just two contests. From his rookie campaign the following season, we have a photo-matched Flyers jersey worn by “Ghost” in 2015-16, specifically in the 3-2 overtime victory vs Carolina on Rob Brind’Amour Hall of Fame induction night, Nov 23, 2015, where Gostisbehere scored the overtime winner! Produced for this very contest and worn for just the single game, the jersey sports a CCM label with “52” sizing affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic “P” Flyers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the orange V-neck has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with “Gostisbehere” sewn to the white nameplate in single black twill. The Rod Brind’Amour #17 patch resides over the right breast. Worn for a single match, the jersey shows light expected wear with a few marks visible. Getty Image #498878288 (November 23rd 2015) has been matched to the pair of black marks located at the left of the "53" on the left sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered “M05513” resides over the inside hem next to the “Set 1” team patch, and according to their population report, the garment is an "Orange w/ Brind'Amour HOF Night Patch 11/23/15" specimen. An LOA from the Flyers will accompany.
