Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Three men enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame and who all backstopped the Montreal Canadiens to multiple Stanley Cup championships combine here in an interesting PSA-graded lot that dates back to a 1959-60 Parkhurst card of Jacques Plante. With just light corner touches, card #41 features a captivating image of record-setting Jacques – he would make it five straight Vezina Trophy wins at season’s end as the Habs secured their record fifth straight Stanley Cup title – and earned NM 7 status. Meanwhile, Rogie Vachon’s challenging ’67-68 Topps rookie card has not-perfect-but-attractive centering among its alluring attributes and achieved admirable NM-MT 8 recognition. Completing the trio is Patrick Roy’s ’88-89 O-Pee-Chee issue, graded MINT 9. Three memorable champions to enhance your Habs/goalie card shrine, with just two light scratches to the front of the Roy PSA holder to report.
