Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Winning gold with Team Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Championships, Morgan Rielly has spent his entire career thus far with Toronto, and we offer a Leafs alternate captain’s jersey worn by the Vancouver native during a portion of the 2019-20 season, including the Hall of Fame Game played on Nov 15, 2019 vs Boston. “58” sizing appears across the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring a vintage style Leafs team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “44” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in white twill, with “Rielly” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The Hall of Fame Game crest resides over the right breast. Sporting light use, Getty Image #1188959919 (Hall of Fame Game Nov 15, 2019) appears to show the extended white threading at the bottom left of each “4” of “44” on the right sleeve, but the image is not clear enough for a definitive photo-match. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA matching the serial number to accompany from the Leafs.
