Undrafted, and signed by the Toronto Maple Leafs after his four years at Bowling Green, Mike Johnson saw action with five different NHL clubs throughout his career and represented Canada at the 2000 IIHF World Championships. From his lone season in Montreal, we have a Canadiens jersey worn by the Scarborough native in 2006-07, worn specifically in the Hall of Fame Game, played on Nov 11, 2006. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, “20” in layered tackle twill is sewn to the sleeves and verso, with “Johnson” across the nameplate in single white twill. The HHOF Game crest resides over the right breast. Worn for a single contest, the jersey exhibits light wear. A patch from MeiGray numbered “D00545” sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA from the Canadiens to accompany, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a “Red – HHOF Game 11/11/06” specimen.
