Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
The highest-scoring left winger in history upon his retirement in 2006, Luc Robitaille saw action in over 1,400 NHL contests and was selected for eight All-Star Games. The Montreal native also represented Team Canada at the Canada Cup and World Championships. From his time with LA in the late-1980s, we have a stick used by the HOFer. A Sher-Wood PMP 7000 model with “Robitaille” factory graphics over the upper shaft and a stamp near the heel, the original white now yellowing tape is in place over the blade and spiral pattern over the shaved handle, with some clear tape added to the lower shaft. The stick shows heavy game-use with wear to the blade including the underside, and numerous marks, abrasions and residue to the shaft. A hologram has been affixed to the lower shaft, with a matching LOA to accompany.
