Doubling the team choices available previously for any youthful participant and keeping pace with the expansion of the NHL, Munro Games, longtime makers of quality Canadian table top hockey games, produced a boxed set of additional players in the late-1960s after the NHL grew from six to twelve teams. Featuring 5 players and 1 goaltender for each of the 10 NHL’s franchises for a total of 60 players (Montreal and Toronto players came free with each table-top model game), the set is complete, with an additional 3 Canadiens and 5 Leafs. The metal player’s exhibit moderate age and storage wear, with a few examples showing heavier surface wear. The original 11 ½” x 14” box with pictorial lid exhibits heavier wear, with most of the aprons to both the lid and box bottom flattened, with tears, staining and clear tape added at numerous spots.
