Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Experiencing almost 1,000 NHL games during his career and serving at times as both alternate and captain including with the Winnipeg Jets, Lucien DeBlois first competed for Lord Stanley’s trophy in 1979 with New York, and won hockey’s greatest prize with the Montreal Canadiens in 1986. From his only full season in Quebec, we have a Nordiques jersey worn by the Joliette native in 1989-90. A Maska label with handwritten “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Nords team crest, “32” is heat-pressed to the sleeves and verso in white vinyl, with fleur-de-lys placed over the shoulders and lower bands in matching material. Sporting nice game-use, there are marks over the front along with burns and paint transfer to the lower sleeves. There is also some light peeling/cracking to a few of the fleur-de-lys.
