A three-time NHL All-Star in just five seasons, Steve Duchesne saw action in over 1,100 contests throughout his career while playing for six different clubs, and won a Stanley Cup championship with the boys from Motor City in 2002. On the eve of Detroit’s 10th championship, Duchesne wore this Red Wings jersey in 2000-01, where he appeared 54 regular-season games. Remnants of a cut label are affixed to the collar near a size “54” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and KOHO patches over the reverse hem and back neckline respectively. Featuring the timeless and gorgeous winged-wheel team crest, “28” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in single white twill, with “Duchesne” arching across the upper reverse. Exhibiting great game-use, there are puck and stick marks over the front and sleeves, with a few slits near the left elbow and burns near the right cuff. There is also a single team repair over each sleeve. The team patch denoting the garment as a “1st Set” specimen resides over the inside hem, with an LOA to accompany.
