Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022

The desirable rookie card of Patrick Roy in inviting NM-MT 8 condition is available here and is the likes of which were discovered in O-Pee-Chee packs during the 1986-87 season, Patrick’s second in the NHL. The prior spring is when the Quebec City native began his big-time playoff legacy, performing heroically at times in backstopping the Canadiens to series wins over the Bruins, Whalers, Rangers and Flames and being awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP. The reverse of card #53 mentions Roy's playoff award, (erroneously as MVP of the 1986 Stanley Cup Finals - (playoffs, not finals)), his league-best 10 wins with Sherbrooke in the '85 AHL playoffs and his close to 9,000 minutes of action during his three junior seasons with Granby. We'll mention that the rookie card of one of hockey's all-time winningest and clutch goaltenders is what you'll be receiving if you win the bidding here. A light touch to the bottom right corner is what denied the card of a higher grade at PSA. A scratch-free holder is also to mention.
