Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Well remembered as a longtime member of the fabled Montreal Canadiens, winning Stanley Cup championships with the Habs in 1986 and 1993, Guy Carbonneau spent a single season with St Louis after his days in Quebec, and we offer a Blues jersey worn by the Sept-Iles native in 1994-95. A cut Maska Airknit label, partially detached Center Ice tag and “52” size swatch are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM logos over the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Blues team crest, “21” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in stylized numerals, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Sporting great game-use with numerous puck and stick marks covering the front and sleeves, there are also additional burns to the sleeves as well as small areas of paint transfer, with a small stain on the reverse. The team patch is screened to the inside hem, with a pair of LOAs to accompany including an example signed by Carbonneau.
