Dressing for eight different NHL clubs throughout his lengthy 17 seasons, Ron Hainsey was drafted by Montreal in 2000 and has also represented the US internationally. From the twilight of his career, we have a helmet worn by the Connecticut native with the Toronto Maple Leafs during the regular season and playoffs in 2018-19, photo-matched to the April 17th playoff match vs Boston (Hainsey earned an assist in the contest). A Warrior Covert model with Oakley visor, Leafs decals grace each side, with “2” over the forehead and lower reverse, with a Stanley Cup Playoffs sticker placed over the right reverse. Sporting good game-use with numerous scratch marks and surface abrasions visible, there is also heavy salting/oxidation to the chin strap clasp. Getty Image #1143598051 (April 17, 2019 Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals) has been matched to the wear marks directly beneath the “2” over the forehead, with the two bolts just above the visor lined-up identically. An LOA from the Toronto Maple Leafs will accompany.
