Starring in his native Russia with CSKA Moscow, Nikita Zaitsev made his NHL debut for Toronto in 2016-17 and skated for the Leafs for three seasons before being traded to Ottawa, in July of 2019. From his third and final season with the blue and white, we have a Leafs “Toronto St Pats” alternate jersey worn by the defenseman during the first period of the March 15, 2019 game vs Philadelphia (Zaitsev earned two assists in the contest, in the second and third periods respectively). “58” sizing appears on the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests on the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with “St Pats” in green felt letters sewn to an oval white felt base over the chest, “22” is affixed to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Zaitsev” across the nameplate. Worn for just a single period, the jersey shows light use, with a single dark mark over the lower left sleeve. The team patch resides on the inside hem, with a COA matching the serial number to accompany from the Leafs.
