Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022

A nifty array of both encapsulated and raw cards for you to consider here and we’ll go chronologically, with a T206 Piedmont card of Gus Dorner displaying well in a KSA holder labeled 5 EX. A small diagonal crease in the lower right corner region is to mention, with Duke Snider’s 1950 Bowman card off-centered and slabbed VG 3 by SGC. Multiple creases and rounded corners affect Andy Pafko’s important 1952 Topps (#1) card that is graded 1 FP by KSA, while a ‘55 Topps Don Zimmer rookie card received a mark of 5 EXCELLENT from Beckett’s BVG department. Also with eye appeal is an autographed ’61 Fleer Allie Reynolds card that features an attractive blue ballpoint signature, with the auto PSA/DNA certified. As for the holders themselves, we spot some light scratches/scuffs to the SGC (Snider) holder and a scratch and two small cracks (top edge) to the Beckett (Zimmer) piece, with light blemishes to the front of the Reynolds holder and some sticky residue on the back. Legends represent the raw contingent, with multiple creases helping to send a ’55 Topps Harmon Killebrew rookie card to Poor, or Fair at best, with Mickey Mantle’s ’65 Topps issue also no better than F. The Mick’s last Topps card (1969) is crease-free and presents like an EX example with a diamond cut, although a small “M” is penned to the back. Completing is a Hank Aaron O-Pee-Chee entry from 1970 (VG), with toning to the reverse of card #500 to mention. Several options await you here.
