Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Forming after the demise of goth and post-punk pioneers Joy Division, New Order began in 1980, with their hit Blue Monday in 1983 serving as the best-selling 12-inch single in history. This 1989 Round & Round record sleeve has been signed by members Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Gillian Gilbert (just the sleeve is present, no LP). A single from the band’s fifth studio release Technique, the Round & Round sleeve has been signed on the cover by all four in matching black marker, with the signatures presenting nicely against the dark background. The sleeve itself shows moderate wear, with a JSA sticker affixed, and a matching Basic Certification to accompany.
