Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/2/2022
Enjoying a worldwide audience of over 300 million during the 1960s, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera first gained prominence with Tom and Jerry, and later produced some of the most iconic cartoon television shows in history including The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo and others. Passing away in 2001 at the age of 90, this original Tom and Jerry sketch has been signed by Bill Hanna and is encapsulated as “Authentic Auto” by PSA/DNA. Featuring a 3” x 5 ½” card with line drawing of the two adversaries in chase, “Best Wishes to Tom, Joe Baker + Tom + Jerry” appears handwritten in black ink, with Bill Hanna signing to the right in differing black ink. The signature exhibits beautifully, with light wear to the card and holder.
