Gilbert Perreault and the Buffalo Sabres have gone hand in hand since they each made their NHL debut in 1970-71. The expansion Sabres joined the league and made Perreault the No. 1 pick in the 1970 NHL Draft after a stellar career with the Montreal Junior Canadiens, and the rest is history. Perreault scored 38 goals in his Buffalo debut, his first of three straight seasons with at least 70 points. In fact Perreault had at least 70 points in 13 of his first 15 seasons, including two 100-point campaigns, three 90-point seasons, and four 80-point seasons. Perreault retired with 512 goals and 814 assists for a staggering 1,326 points in 1,191 games, all with the Sabres. So it’s fitting that Gilbert placed his bold black marker autograph and his retired No. 11 across the Buffalo on the Sabres crest on the front of this signed jersey with size 54 flag tag in the neck and the captain’s “C” on the left breast. Comes with a JSA Basic Cert with certification No. SS83627 that also appears on the JSA sticker affixed to the bottom of the signed team crest from Perreault’s autograph.
