Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/2/2022
Registering no less than 20 goals throughout each of his eight seasons with the Montreal Canadiens, Mats Naslund reached the 200-goal milestone in fashion during his seventh season with a hat trick on Nov 26, 1988, vs the Edmonton Oilers at the Forum. The final goal of the hat trick serves as his 200th, and we offer an attractive plaque he received that features his 200th goal puck mounted from the game. At 10” x 15”, the finished wooden plaque with beveled edges sports the puck over the center as well as an affixed and engraved plate with mounted enamel Canadiens crest above, with the text stating “Mats Naslund” and “200th Goal in the NHL”, with the date and venue listed along with the time of the goal and victim (Bill Ranford). The plaque shows just light wear, with Naslund signing the reverse in black marker. A COA for the signature will accompany.
