This ultra intriguing and seldom-seen 1929-30 Stanley Cup champion Montreal Canadiens framed composite photo serves as one of the greatest images from the period and features one of the most noteworthy all-time Canadiens teams. With Howie Morenz leading the Habs with 50 points, he and his Canadiens teammates captured the first of back-to-back Cups in the spring of 1930, going a perfect 6-0 in the playoffs. All of the text on this amazing studio composite photo is in French with dates and results of all of the Habs' playoff games throughout the three playoff rounds against the Black Hawks, Rangers and the regular-season and reigning Cup champion Boston Bruins. Morenz and fellow superstar and HOFer Aurele Joliat flank a splendid image of Lord Stanley's trophy, while other members of this great Montreal squad featured in individual poses taken outside the Forum include Hainsworth, Lepine, Leduc and the Mantha brothers. Extremely well preserved with no condition issues visible whatsoever and double-matted in an especially attractive and well-suited embellished 20” x 27” frame, this paramount display featuring the legendary 1930 Stanley Cup champion Canadiens is of the highest museum caliber.
