Well loved for his iconic mask considered by many to be one of the greatest ever designed, Gilles Gratton enjoys a loyal following despite playing in an especially short career in both the NHL and WHA. Serving as backup to Gerry Cheevers at the 1974 Summit Series, Gratton and teammate Bobby Hull posed in a relaxed moment for this 9” x 12” photo of the pair arm wrestling, with the photo signed by Hull in ballpoint and personalized to Gratton, with the inscription in French reading “Gilles, my friend, good luck always”. Triple-matted and framed to 14” x 18”, the uniquely-signed photo displays beautifully. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Gilles Gratton will accompany.
