With all sorts of possibilities and perfect for "type" collectors, (especially those just getting going), is this diverse stash that covers several decades. We'll tell of the highlights and let the images inform of the rest of the lineup. Earliest is Hall of Famer Shorty Green's rookie card (P) from William Paterson's 1923-24 V145-1 issue, with 16-Alex McKinnon RC (VG+) representing the V145-2 set. A 1924-25 Maple Crispette rookie card of Sammy Rothschild (G) displays well, as does a #89-"Beaver" Coutu Dominion Chocolate card (VG+) from the same year. Best among three Paulin Chambers cards is 40-Laurie Scott, with 18-Cox and 45-Keats multi-creased. Low grade (P-F-G) unless noted and from the 1930s are '33-34 O-Pee-Chee 28-Bourgeault RC and 43-Phillips RC, '33-34 Ice Kings 59-Aurie RC and 69-Cox RC (VG+) and '37-38 World Wide Gum 38-Gracie, 86-Kelly and 96-Art Ross, the latter three all with tack holes, while graded VG 3 by PSA is '37-38 OPC 156-Desilets. Oversized '39-40 OPCs of 13-McDonald (P) and 82-Demarco RC (G) are in the mix and then it's on to the 1950s, with Bill Barilko's 52-The Winning Goal card (F) headlining five '51-52 Parkies, the others being rookie cards of 42-Guidolin (VG), 51-Babando (VG), 74-Klukay (G) and 94-Stanley (P). Other notables from the '50s are a '52-53 George Armstrong RC (way off-centered and F), '52-53 Juniors Blue Tint 5-Al Arbour (F) and '54-55 74-Prentice RC (EX), with another dozen miscellaneous Topps and Parkhurst entries also present. An equal amount from the '60s include '64-65 Topps 64-Pappin RC (VG+), '65-66 Topps 21-Giacomin RC (G+) and '69-70 OPC 138-Tony Esposito RC (P), along with a PSA NM 7 '67-68 Topps #55-Maki card. Vintage pictures/premiums contribute; La Patrie Canadiens photos of Didier Pitre and Leo Lafrance are respectable creased examples, with Habs Graboski and Singbush and Chicago's Palangio best among 14 Bee Hives (mostly Group 2). Other goodies (pictures and postcards) are to be discovered, while (15) full 9-pocket pages include mostly unexciting '70s-and-up cards but with RCs of Pete Mahovlich, Dave Taylor and Ron Francis noteworthy.
