Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022

Just over 100 contributors are involved here and span five decades, with a 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee Guy Lafleur rookie card among the highlights. Not high grade (similar to most), with the almost-miscut example G+ due to three banged corners and a small crease. A few interesting 1960s representatives include an autographed '65-66 Jean Beliveau Topps card (G), '64-65 (VG) cards of 4-Ferguson and 43-Blake, an attractive EX '68-69 OPC Terry Sawchuk and '69-70 OPC 207-Plante/Hall Vezina (VG-EX+). Howe ('70-71 OPC All-Star, '71-72 Booklet), Tony Esposito and Orr highlight 30-some from the '70s, most of the others underwhelming (Scouts and Golden Seals from '75-76 x 15). A Ray Bourque '80-81 OPC RC (VG-EX) is joined by several other rookies from the '80s, notably Robitaille (2), Anderson, Francis, Housley, Oates, Hextall, Ranford, Turgeon and Sakic but we spot varying degrees of handling/wear and nothing high grade. A creased Brett Hull RC does not have a yellow dot in the push-pin on front and is suspect. More alluring is a signed Hull Hockey Heroes card, hand-numbered "0903/2500" on the front and joined by Upper Deck RCs of Jagr (2), Belfour (2), Modano, Selanne (2) and others. Seventeen Howe Hockey Heroes cards include duplication (2 headers), with two '91-92 Score Bobby Orr inserts and other miscellaneous cards completing.
