Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Henri Richard, the man who would go on to record more career NHL points and win more Stanley Cups than his much-more-heralded big brother Maurice, is depicted here on his coveted 1957-58 Parkhurst rookie card. As you can see, this example is affected by considerable staining both front and back, with creases and corner/edge wear also observed. There is also paper loss on the front; above and in the area of Henri's stick blade. A legible back is an attribute, with the write-up concluding, "certainly one of the most mature "thinking players" in hockey today." Recently slabbed "A AUTH", the card is in a scratch-free KSA holder.
