Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
The most hallowed of all past NHL buildings, the Montreal Forum serves as hockey’s greatest shrine, with some of the most memorable moments the sport has ever witnessed occurring on it’s ice surface. This lot offers a collection of 25 Forum items. First, we have original Forum bricks signed by Patrick Roy and Guy Lafleur – with each signed in black marker and limited to 800 (Roy – 664/800, Lafleur – 642/800), followed by a final program for the Forum, from March 11, 1996, a 1993 Forum All-Star Game program, a final season ticket poster, with past legends featured (25” x 34”), a Bordeaux Superieur Lafleur signed wine bottle with Guy image (empty), a still-sealed 2009 Official 100 seasons Game Puck, and a 1955-56 Parkhurst Forum hockey card #78 (lower grade). The lot also contains an unused Forum baseball cap, a trio of Forum pucks including an example for the 1993 All-Star Game, a 1990s oldtimers program with Rocket Richard officiating, a “Montreal Old Pros” mini goal stick signed by 13 including the Rocket, Dryden, F. Mahovlich, Ullman, Pronovost and others (the signatures display admirably), an early-1970s Habs mini stick with facsimile signatures and a few other items. The majority show just light handling wear unless otherwise noted, with two COAs for each signed brick including examples from Forum Investments Inc.
