Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
The Russian Rocket first blasted-off in Vancouver in 1991-92, scoring 60 points in his first 65 NHL regular-season contests as a Calder Memorial-winning rookie. Bure would skate – quickly - for 12 seasons in the NHL which included hoisting the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy twice consecutively. The superstar would also represent Russia internationally throughout his HOF career, and we offer a signed World Legends Hockey League Team Russia alternate captain’s jersey worn by the Moscow native in 2017. Spearheaded by Bure, the World Legends Hockey League began in 2015-16 and features world-class hockey players aged 45 and above to represent their country on the international stage. Sporting a “10” sublimated to the inside collar, the jersey measures-out to a size 54. Featuring all identifiers sublimated including the Russian team crest, World Legends Hockey League crest and “Bure” over the upper reverse, Bure has signed the reverse “1” in black marker, adding “HOF 12”. With no marks visible, a hologram has been affixed to the reverse, with a pair of COAs to accompany.
